Mrs. McDade was admitted to practice in the state of Texas in June 2021. She is familiar with representing employers and insurance carriers in claims brought under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and Defense Base Act. Her practice now focuses on state-complex litigation matters.
Prior to law school, Patricia worked as a journalist and editor for the Mount Pleasant Tribune (2015), the Bryan College Station Eagle (2015-2017), and the Houston Chronicle regional newspapers (2017-2019). During this time, she was able to hone her investigative and writing skills.
Mrs. Patricia McDade received her Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude, from Texas A&M University – Commerce in 2017. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston in 2021. While in law school, she participated on the Moot Court Team in the National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition and served as the vice president of external relations and events for the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators – UHLC Chapter (2020-2021). She also received a certificate in advanced arbitration skills from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center.
